The Flash Collection was executed in a record time of just 10 weeks, a rarity in the footwear industry that usually works months or years in advance to bring products to market. This speedy execution is a testament to Idrobo's commitment to innovation and efficiency.

The collection was realized using traditional shoe-making methods combined with a contemporary aesthetic. Leather was the primary material, with EVA soles and midsoles for maximum comfort. The process involved visual identity exploration, pattern making, sourcing high-quality leather, prototyping, and final execution of each shoe.

The Flash Collection was exhibited at the Gutstein Gallery in May 2016, after a development period from January to March 2016 in Savannah. The project involved trend hunting, market research, branding, sketching, development, prototyping, tech packs, presentation delivery, graphic design, sewing, sourcing, and art directing.

Despite the challenges of translating designs into fully working prototypes in a short period, and creating products that people will find meaningful, the Flash Collection was a success. It was awarded the Golden A' Footwear, Shoes and Boots Design Award in 2017, a testament to the collection's outstanding design and trendsetting creations.
